Love Kills: A Band of Misfits
Fuzzbox Studio had a team of world-class developers and designers working on their adventure shooter game. They were experts in fun gameplay mechanics and level design, but needed help with creating high-quality assets to bring their vision to life. That's when they approached us about building art and animation for Love Kills, a multi-platform, action-packed game in a world overrun by cuddly monsters.

The Challenge
We had several goals for this project, including:
-
To create high-quality art and animation assets that fit the style and tone of the creative direction provided by our client.
-
To deliver the assets on time and within budget.
-
To work closely with the game studio's team to ensure that the assets met their needs and requirements.

Solution
The project began with meeting the Fuzzbox team to discuss their vision for the game and the type of assets they needed. Together, we identified the game's art style and established a set of guidelines for the creation of all assets.

Next, we began creating the assets with our award-winning 3D team. We started by sketching out rough drafts of each character and asset to get a sense of the overall design, and once the designs were approved by Fuzzbox, moved on to creating more detailed versions of each.

Throughout the creation process, we worked closely with Fuzzbox to ensure that the assets were meeting their needs and expectations. This involved regular check-ins and feedback sessions to make sure that the assets were on track and any necessary changes could be made in a timely manner.

Results
The project was a success and we delivered high-quality art and animation assets that exceeded the expectations of our client, on-budget and on-schedule. The assets helped bring the game to life and added a new level of polish and professionalism to the final product.

Conclusion
Overall, our collaboration with Fuzzbox was a positive experience for both parties. By working closely together and maintaining open lines of communication throughout the project, we were able to achieve our shared goals and create a fun and engaging shooter game that was well-received in play-tests and beyond.
